im asking for ur help, i am going through hell

So I don't cry often. Did today. Don't lose my cool often. Did today. Am I the only one who thinks that this whole thing is an impossibility? Am I the only one who thinks it is sick to voice ur opinion to God cause he is holy? Should we be scared of someone who loves us? there is NO fear in love. yea right. Ask me about the time i went to buy a bulldog and my car swerved off the side of the road at 65. If heloves, and he disciplines, that sure made me "Fear" the Lord.

I am sounding like a heathen saying this but we have all these cliches. "God's not going to force u to love him" "the Holy Spirit is a gentlemean." I can remember turning my car around on my way to a job interview cause i felt so bitter in my soul about applying. God doesnt want me working god wants me as a full time eveangelist. So if i dont want to do it, what will happen? I can't ever seeing myself being a full time maniac...

I'm not sure where you are now, I've known people ask for help but truly didn't want to listen or study God's word to find the help and truth that He has given us in His word.I know that I'm not perfect; But I've seen God's hand move in my stead many times. and I know it's truly God, for when I call on Him, and ask He answers my prayers, I've learned that we are stuck in a war, between Christ and Satan; Due to Satan's disobedience and coveting God's Throne. up for Grabs is our Freewill choices. In this war between them; God cannot help us until we ask for help, that is one of the rules, that is why God says "ask" and ask in Christ's name and Believe. we have to ask or Satan will cry "foul" and claim that God broke the rules of engagement. this is where we are we're stuck in the middle of this mess. Pray, God is an Awesome God, and though He can Help us out of anything, His hands are tied, unless we ask for His Help and allow Him to lead us. Be Blessed and I hope this Helps you understand what You need to do. God Bless you. DS

Hi Jordy,

I think the best solution is to get out of the christian religion that holds people in bondage to fear and guilt. You know what, the so-called "angry God of the old testament" is just a figment of imagination in the minds of people who thought they were separated from God - that's why Jesus came to show us that we are all already one with God.

Therefore, you can trust your own heart and not worry about whether it is God's will for you to do something. If there is really a God, I believe He wants us to be at peace.

And yes, there is no need to be a full-time evangelist in a sense because there is no literal "hell" to save people from - the "christian hell" is nothing more than a religious myth.

Take care.

Jimmy

Oh, Jordy. This breaks my heart. The Lord is not out to get you or punish you for not being good enough or holy enough. That is a lie from Satan! Our Father sent His only Son, Jesus to die for us. He who knew no sin- became sin (OUR sin!) so that we could become the righteousness of God in Him(Christ!). And even when we do sin, we can turn to Him and remember His Word -Romans 8:1-'There is therefore NOW (in that very moment that we sin!) NO CONDEMNATION!' and we can run to that throne of mercy to find help and grace in our time of need! When you are troubled or angry or confused, be honest and take it to Him. He is big enough to handle it, and if your heart is honest, He will guide you by His Holy Spirit to His Word to soothe you and lead you in all truth. He delights to keep His Word. Psalm 121:5 says, 'The Lord is thy keeper!' He will keep you in all of your ways. Trust Him. Christ paid a dear and very big price for you to walk in freedom. Don't let Satan rob you. Christ himself said, 'My yoke is easy and my burden is light!' praying for you.

I just read Isaiah 54. As you can see it comes after chapter 53-the famous 'suffering servant' passage about what Christ accomplished on the cross. Chapter 54 goes on to promise that He will never be angry with us again! What an awesome promise!!

Matthew 6:24 - "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other...".

Check what you're focusing on. In focusing you are serving. So is it money, things, pride, accomplishment or yourself?

What you should be focusing on is God's word and His promise to you [Hebrew 8:8-12]. If He promised you mercy why do you not trust him? If you can trust the breakfast you take every morning is not poisoned without taking it through tests how much more so God's word!

Only believe. Get to know His word so you can trust His word. Have fellowship with Him and do not focus on what you have done because it is small[Job 40:4], focus on what he has done because it is everlasting[Isaiah 9:7].
